Former US President Donald Trump on Sunday renewed his threat of a possible military operation in Nigeria in response to the ongoing killings of Christians in the country. This statement came shortly after the Nigerian presidency suggested a meeting to address and resolve the escalating violence.

Speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One, Trump did not rule out the deployment of US troops on Nigerian soil or the use of air strikes.
